Joinery that is cut on site, not ordered from a catalogue.

Twenty five years means most jobs are ones I have done before. If it is timber and it needs to fit properly, it is probably worth a call.

New flights, replacement treads, handrails and spindles. Cut and fitted on site so it sits right in your house, not a standard house.

Repair and restoration of original sashes, new cords, draught proofing and rotten sill replacement. Keeping the character, losing the rattle.

Kitchens and worktops

Solid wood worktops with seamless joins, fitted units and end panels. The joins are the bit people notice, so that is the bit I take time over.

Built in cabinetry and shelving in a living room

Media walls

Built in units around a TV or fire, with the cabling hidden and the detailing squared off. One of the jobs I get asked for most.

Doors and hanging

Internal and external doors hung, planed and latched so they close first time and keep closing through the winter.

I am a time served joiner based in Coventry, covering Warwickshire and Solihull. I work on my own, which means the person who prices your job is the person who turns up to do it.

Most of my work comes from people passing my name on, which is the way I would rather keep it. Stairs and sash windows are what I am known for, but a good deal of the week is kitchens, doors and built in units.
